The Scancrawler system is a light weight tool-carrier for hydraulically operated tools. It has been developed specifically for medium to heavy operations requiring high accuracy.

Typical tasks include:

• Subsea excavation
• Rock dump and drillcut removal
• Pipeline deburial
• Relocation of seabed

The Scancrawler combines advanced ROV technologies with the design of rugged land based construction machines. High precision equipment and services which are available for rental with specialist Scanmudring personnel.

Scancrawler high precision system:

• requires a team of 4 multidiscipline personnel for 24-hour operation
• operates with Mos (excavation monitoring system) to an accuracy of +/- 5 cm
• is operable in water depths ranging from 0m to 1000m, depending on ROV
