Reef Subsea is a young, dynamic company that is committed to building on an already-established record for delivering quality client service. We believe safety is an integral part of quality.

We are developing a consistent QHS&E approach across our business, building a shared safety and quality culture which transcends geographical and project boundaries. Additionally, each Company of Reef Subsea – Technocean , Reef Subsea Power & Umbilical , Specialist Subsea Services (S³), and  Scanmudring - Rotech Subsea - also develops and operates safety and quality policies specific to its activities.

Reef Subsea has established a credible safety record across all parts of its business, and strives to continually improve systems and culture.

Monitoring safety

Reef Subsea is committed to developing a Group Safety culture that crosses all the businesses and geographical areas of the company and delivers a consistency to the business.

While HSE professionals are employed in all Group companies the responsibility for safety is clearly passed to each individual who works on the Groups worksites and training and induction is a key part of our business.

The importance of individuals being able to recognise safety issues or quality deviations and to take appropriate action is seen by the company as goal. All subcontractors who come under our management are appropriately pre-qualified and inducted using a common process, and are compelled to integrate completely with our QHS&E systems.

Quality

Quality is at the bottom line of our business. We ensure that our management, processes and equipment are of the highest quality and are continually reviewing our activities to ensure that quality is maintained.

Our approach to quality is end-to-end. We ensure that all our planning, engineering and other activities are checked and reviewed continually, so that we can demonstrate an exceptionally high degree of confidence that we can execute any client project appropriately, efficiently and effectively.

Our Safety ethic is driven from the top down with the intent being that it is clear to all employees that Safety is the primary responsibility. The  CEO Safety statement supported by the Board of Directors is evidence that there is no compromise in this respect.
