Reef Subsea awarded contract by Talisman in the UK North Sea for its two new subsea construction support vessels - Reef Larissa and Reef Despina
Reef Subsea AS announced today that they have been awarded a contract with Talisman Energy (UK) Ltd for the provision of two maintenance support vessels. Reef Subsea’s newly delivered vessels, Reef Despina and Reef Larissa, will fulfil the contract for Talisman, which involves supporting the company's Brownfields Modification Programme on selected UK offshore fields.

Reef Subsea awarded Seabed Dredging contract by A/S Norske Shell on Ormen Lange for newly-built Scanmachine 4
Reef Subsea AS announced today that Scanmudring - one of its Norwegian subsidiaries - have been awarded by A/S Norske Shell a seabed dredging contract on Ormen Lange Mid-North field development. The task will be performed by the newly-built Scanmachine 4, the new generation of the highly experienced tool carrier developed and operated by Scanmudring. The water depth, challenging seabed conditions and high precision required in achieving the work are ideal to the new Scanmachine 4 capabilities.

Reef Subsea charters for five years two new-built DP2 subsea construction vessels from Neptune Offshore. Neptune Subsea welcomes Reef Subsea as a key shareholder
Reef Subsea AS announced today that they have signed two five-year charter agreements for two newly-built dynamically positioned subsea construction vessels -Neptune Despina and Neptune Larissa- from Neptune Offshore AS. Simultaneously Neptune Subsea AS, the ship owning company of the vessels, welcomes Reef Subsea as a 25% shareholder. Both vessels have been recently delivered to Neptune Offshore and should be transferred to Reef Subsea by mid-January 2012.

Reef Subsea extends its range of activities by providing installation and trenching services to the Offshore Oil & Gas and Renewables markets via Reef Subsea Power & Umbilical Ltd.
Reef Subsea AS announced today that its new UK subsidiary, Reef Subsea Power & Umbilical Ltd. - based in North East England - is able to provide subsea installation and trenching services to its clients in both the Offshore Oil & Gas and Renewables markets. The company has just announced an order for a new Jet Trencher ROV that will be available in the summer of 2012.

Reef Subsea awarded subsea construction contract by Heerema for its just delivered new-built Polar King vessel
Reef Subsea AS announced today that early May, Reef Subsea’s Technocean was officially handed the Polar King, the company’s long-term chartered new-built subsea construction vessel, from GC Rieber Shipping. The vessel mobilised soon after in Stavanger for her first subsea construction contract awarded by Heerema Marine Contractors Netherlands BV.

Reef Subsea awarded significant subsea construction contract by Fluor for Greater Gabbard, the world’s largest wind farm, offshore UK
Reef Subsea AS announced today that one of its Norwegian operating companies has signed a significant integrated contract to provide engineering and installation services associated to inter array cable installation inside the Greater Gabbard wind farm. The principal contractor for the Project, Fluor, is providing EPC services to Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Ltd. for a 500MW offshore wind farm off the Suffolk coast of the UK, which when complete, will be the world’s largest offshore wind farm.

Reef Subsea divests from Bluestone Offshore to further pursue development in subsea services worldwide
Reef Subsea AS announced today that, following Board of Directors approval, they have decided to divest from their Bluestone Offshore Pte Ltd business based in Singapore. Bluestone is an integrated geotechnical site investigation company providing a complete solution for offshore projects requiring seabed data and sampling. Upon the Share Purchase Agreement signed on 4th April, Fugro will acquire 100% of the company.

Reef Subsea awarded four-year frame agreement contract by Technip for subsea construction operations in the North Sea and the North Atlantic
This frame agreement will allow Technocean AS, a subsidiary of Reef Subsea AS, to act as a partner to Technip Norway and other Technip Group companies for subsea services in the NCS (both Norway and UK) and Canada according to pre-agreed terms.
